tips on selecting a florist

One of the first steps in finding the right Florist for you is to visit several Florist Shops. Ask the salesperson to see some pictures of actual events they have captured. Also, you may want to ask your friends for some advice, word of mouth can be your best resource in finding a Florist that is right for you.

You should bring samples of pictures of what you are looking for, so that the Florist may have a better idea of what you are looking for. When it comes to choosing the colors you are looking for you may want to bring along a picture of your wedding dress and also a swatch of the mothers gowns.

Most Florists charge an hourly fee for setting up on your wedding day and others charge a percentage for delivery, setting up and removal. Make sure you ask how much these fees are. You should get a written proposal for exactly what flowers are being used and how they are going to be used.

Once you have made a decision on choosing your florist make sure you get a written contract. Also before signing the contract you may want to make sure that they have the correct date, time and location correctly written on your contract.
