The following questions below should help you find the reception hall that is
right for you. One key component is in the way the hall representative answers
these questions they will help you to reveal much about his/her attitude towards
service and how they meet the needs of their clients.
• What services are included in the fee? (e.g. wait-staff, bartenders,
coat check, clean-up, catering, parking)

Is there any chance of our room changing to another room? Will we be notified
of any changes?

Can we decorate the hall, are there any restriction on what type of decorations
that can be used? When can we put up decorations?

What time can our guests and we start arriving? By what time must we leave?

What are the hours of service for the bar?

Is there a corkage fee for alcoholic beverages? Can we supply our own alcohol?
How will the wine/champagne be served?

How does the seating arrangements work?

When is the deadline for the final count of guests?

Is their flexibility in menu choices? Can we make changes to the menu?

What type of decorations does the hall provide?

What will the cost per per person, are taxed and gratuity included in the final
cost?

How much is the deposit? When is the balance due?

What types of payments do you except?
Make sure that you receive a written contract. Your contract should specify
the day, date, and time of reception. The time you and your guests can arrive
and the time in which everyone must depart. The services that are included
with the fee total amount, including taxes and gratuity. The time your meal
will be served and the duration of the meal period should be specified. Payment
schedule amount and due date of deposit, due date of balance.
